For this week's art project we are going to be creating Halloween monsters from things found in nature! This project is going to be entirely outdoors and will require you to forage and adventure for your materials. Much like how Halloween itself is only one day a year, this art project is not meant to be permanent. It will all be created outside, using the earth as your canvas.

Materials needed:
● Sketch paper
● Pencil
● Different types of nature you collect outside to create your monster (e.g. leaves, sticks, rocks, nuts etc.).

Directions:
1 - On your sketch paper, draw the type of monster you want to create. It can be a monster you already know, or something from your imagination. This sketch will be used as a reference, so it doesn’t need to be exact.
2 - Go for a walk around your neighborhood, take a stroll through your yard, or take a hike in the mountains to forage for different types of natural objects from which to create your monster.
3 - Using your sketch as a reference, gather all of your foraged items together and arrange them on the ground in the shape of your monster. You can do this on the spot wherever you collected your materials or take your materials with you to a spot of your choice and arrange them there.
4 - Take a picture of your nature monster and share it with us!

This project is fun to create, so get inspired, be creative, and have a happy Halloween!
