This week’s art project is inspired by Clark Clifford’s photo, Harpers No. 2: Retro TV Concept. In his piece, he talks about uncertainty, self-discovery, and refinement. Our idea is to create a TV of self-reflection. Inside the TV, you’ll write words you feel represent the inner you. This creative project helps with our mental state by showing us how great and strong we are and reminding us that we can get through anything.

- On your computer, print the Retro T.V. and cut out the center of the T.V.
- On your computer, print and cut the Antennas and Mount.
- Take the printed Retro T.V. with the cut-out center and trace it on the fluorescent yellow cardstock.
- After the T.V. has been traced onto the fluorescent yellow cardstock, cut-out the T.V. and the center of the T.V.
- Take the printed Antennas and Mount that was cut-out, and trace it onto the fluorescent yellow cardstock.
- Cut-out the tracings of the Antennas and mount that you traced on the fluorescent yellow cardstock.
- Take the fluorescent orange cardstock paper and glue the Retro T.V. on top of it.
- Glue the fluorescent yellow mount and antennas on top of the T.V.
- With a pencil, write down all the positive words you choose from your sketch paper onto the center (orange part) of the T.V.
- Trace over the penciled words with black permanent marker.
- Feel free to decorate the outside of your Retro T.V. or you can leave it blank, like I did.
