For our art project this week, we will be creating a piece influenced by Expressionist painter, Alma Woodsey Thomas. She was an exceptional painter and an art educator for over 30 years. Alma had received several degrees from many major universities including New York, Columbia, and Howard. Her signature was creating a composition of individual tiles of color displayed in concentric circles and columns that had an organic spirit full of light, air, and motion.
