'Playground' by Marissa Albrecht
Due to these unique times, this Thanksgiving will be a little bit different for many of us. Though it may be difficult to adapt to new circumstances, it also creates a unique opportunity for creating new art. This project uses self-expression to describe feelings about Thanksgiving. Think of some holiday memories and do your best to channel them using any medium you like. The example of a Thanksgiving memory we’ve included is created in an art journal using mixed media (newspaper, watercolor, ink, acrylic paint, and colored pencils).
Materials:
● Whatever your medium requires
● Art Journal or any kind of paper
● Sketch paper (to draw and write down your ideas)
● Pencil
