Before starting this art piece, view Jessica Parker’s work in our student exhibition and look up some other artists for inspiration. There are many different ways to use food to create art. For this project, we are using food to recreate a famous painting of your choice. In our example, we drew and cut-out pineapples, cake, banana peels, and asparagus to recreate Van Gogh's Sunflowers. You can use real food, draw or paint images of food, use magazine cutouts, colored clay, or any material you choose to create your own food masterpiece.
